General notes for the practice
- New students should arrive at least 20 minutes before class starts.
- All students should arrive on time, so as not to miss the first breathing exercise.
- Always practice with an empty stomach.
- Clothes should be light and comfortable. It’s hot!
- It is very important to drink PLENTY OF WATER before and after class in order to stay well hydrated (water bottles available for sale at the studio)
- A yoga mat and a towel are mandatory to practice. They are both available for rent and sale at the studio.
- You do not have to be flexible, yoga will MAKE you flexible!
- Muscle soreness after the first class is to be expected. The best way to overcome this is to come back the next day!
- Classes are 90 minutes long.
- The yoga room opens 15 min before class.
- Please use a proper towel, no microfiber towel or sarong permitted.
- Stay hydrated before and after class.
- Turn off your mobile phone.
- If you are taking medication, pregnant or have an injury, you must inform the teacher before the class begins.
- Be free of strong perfumes and scented products.
- No flip flops or bags in the yoga room, please use the lockers.
- Silence is mandatory in and around the yoga room.
- No extensions on memberships or classcards.
- Yoga Bikram Paris is not responsible for your personal belongings.
